Job summary

Radiac Abrasives, a TYROLIT Company, is seeking a Process Engineer to support manufacturing operations in Oswego, IL. You will collaborate with Operations to improve productivity, quality, cost, and safety, and contribute to new product introductions and equipment start-ups.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering, at least five years of manufacturing/process engineering experience, and Lean/Six Sigma training; Green Belt preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum of five years of manufacturing/process engineering experience.
• Lean and Six Sigma training is required.
• Six Sigma Green Belt preferred; Black Belt a plus.
• DOE training or equivalent experience preferred.
• Experience supporting new product introductions and equipment implementations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Operations to identify and resolve productivity, quality, cost, or safety issues.
• Lead continuous improvement projects to increase productivity and reduce costs.
• Drive cross‑functional improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and DOE.
• Prioritize and track improvement projects; report progress to Operations leadership.
• Evaluate new materials, suppliers, equipment, and processes with cross‑functional teams.
• Support new product introductions and equipment start‑ups with manufacturing requirements.
