Job summary

Cencora is launching a new pharmacy location in Nashua, NH and seeks PRN Pharmacists to support an onsite operation. Responsibilities include dispensing medications, patient counseling, and coordinating with prescribers to ensure optimal care.

The role requires a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy with an active license and experience in retail ambulatory settings. Expect full-time hours with a focus on quality patient care and regulatory compliance.

• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to resolve patient issues quickly and creatively in order to improve customer satisfaction.
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical products, services and drug interactions.

• Good analytical skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Knowledge of the 340b drug program is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, prepare, and dispense medications following standards and laws.
• Provide excellent customer service and clinical care.
• Interact with patients to answer questions about therapy.
• Review patient care plans for therapeutic appropriateness.
• Consult with prescribers to determine appropriate care plans.
• Support ambulatory pharmacy business goals and promotions.
• Assist with financial management and budgeting for the ambulatory pharmacy.
• Oversee hiring, training, and performance of pharmacy technicians.
• Monitor staff to ensure regulatory compliance and procedures.
• Suggest procedural improvements to enhance patient care.
