STERIS is hiring a technician to conduct electrical and mechanical tests on medical devices in Plymouth, MN. You will perform and document tests, troubleshoot equipment, and ensure products meet specifications.

The role requires reading schematics and using testing tools, with a focus on quality and proper documentation. The position is onsite, direct, full-time, with a pay range of $24–$27.50 per hour and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED with 2 years troubleshooting experience or a 2-year electronics degree.
• Ability to read schematics and BOMs; interpret assembly drawings.
• Experience using testing equipment and basic MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Test functional performance of systems, subassemblies, and components.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical parts.
• Document corrections and maintain manufacturing records.
• Record discrepancies and assist in defect trending.
• Collaborate with teams to improve daily productivity and quality.
