Qualifications

• Ability to use hand tools, torque tools, and basic measurement tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints at varying levels.
• Understanding of mechanical assembly, alignment, tolerances, and inspection requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented work instructions.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a production environment.
• OSHA safety onboarding, PPE awareness, lockout/tagout as applicable.
• Basic and precision measurement tool competency.
• Torque tool training and sequencing where required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble machined and fabricated components using hand and torque tools.
• Read blueprints, work instructions, torque specs and quality docs.
• Verify fit, alignment, torque, and dimensional accuracy throughout assembly.
• Document assembly steps accurately and support first article inspections and audits.
• Troubleshoot assembly sequencing, fit-up, alignment, and build issues.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area with PPE and safety procedures.
• Mentor junior assemblers when assigned and support standard work in the cell.
