Job summary

Integrated Solutions for Systems, Inc. (IS4S) in Huntsville, AL, seeks Assembly Technicians to perform hands-on assembly of a wide range of systems. The role requires reading blueprints, understanding fit-up, inspection, and quality control to consistently meet criteria.

You will work with engineering teams to transition designs from prototyping to production, using a variety of shop tools daily. The position is on-site in Huntsville with no remote option.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in manufacturing, construction, or other hands-on assembly work.
• Experience in welding, metal bending, water jet operation, and general fabrication is a plus.
• Experience in the safe use of tools such as drills, riveting guns, wrenches, hammers, metal saws, grinders, etc.
• Experience in working with an engineering team to bring a design through prototyping and into production.
• Day to day use of computer software (Microsoft Word, Power Point & Excel, time keeping systems).
• Experience in AS9100 operations and quality control processes.

Responsibilities

• Assemble a wide variety of systems with hands-on work.
• Read and interpret blueprints to meet inspection acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with engineering during prototyping and production.
• Use standard tools safely and effectively during assembly.
