Job summary

A leading defense contractor is seeking junior to mid-level engineers with power electronics knowledge to design robust power systems. Candidate will be responsible for design, analysis, and testing of power conversion circuitry. This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in STEM and relevant experience, along with a strong knowledge of tools like MATLAB. Candidates must have an active U.S. security clearance and will work primarily onsite in Tucson, Arizona.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience with non-isolated converter topologies: buck, boost, buck-boost.
• Design and/or analysis experience with analog electronics design.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, simulate, test, and document power conversion circuitry.
• Assist in architecting at the circuit card level.
• Help to manage circuit card development from design to testing.
