Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of approved sanitary methods for kitchen and dining areas.
• Ability and stamina to stand long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in variable temperatures.
• Ability to follow simple oral and written instructions.
• Ability to work varied shifts including weekends, holidays and nights.
• Ability to work on wet, slippery floors and near sharp surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Washes pots and pans by hand or with machines.
• Cleans utensils and dishes by manual and machine washing.
• Cleans dining area equipment, counters, floors, carts, trays, and furniture.
• Transports food to and from storage and serving areas.
• Prepares coffee as needed.
• Operates kitchen equipment safely.
• Separates and disposes of trash properly.
