Job summary

Tecan is seeking a Quality Assurance - Post Wave team member in Morgan Hill, CA. You will perform detailed PCBAs inspections, precise hand soldering, and rework to meet quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on PCBA soldering and rework.
• Reading and interpreting assembly drawings, BOMs, MPIs, and component values.
• Experience performing detailed inspection and rework using a microscope.
• Strong understanding of ESD precautions and PCB handling.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough visual inspections of PCBAs to verify quality.
• Perform precise hand soldering and touch-up rework on SMT and through-hole components.
• Execute rework activities per ECOs, MPIs and MPIs.
• Document inspection results and rework activities for traceability.
• Follow safety procedures and ESD precautions.
• Collaborate with ME/TE to resolve quality issues.
• Support corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
