Job summary

Scott Humphrey Corporation seeks an experienced Project Manager for mission-critical construction projects. This role is onsite and involves direct collaboration with Superintendents, trade partners, and design teams to deliver complex facilities on time and within budget.

You will oversee budgets, scheduling, procurement, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation, while mentoring junior staff and coordinating long-lead equipment and critical milestones.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of construction project management experience with a general contractor.
• Onsite work with field teams and subcontractors.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage mission-critical projects from preconstruction through turnover.
• Maintain a consistent onsite presence with daily field operations.
• Partner with Superintendents to manage safety, quality, sequencing and schedule.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, design teams, and project stakeholders.
• Lead onsite meetings with OAC, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Manage project budgets, forecasting, contracts, buyout, and change orders.
• Oversee RFIs, submittals, procurement, pay applications, and project documentation.
• Coordinate long-lead equipment, MEP systems, and critical milestones.
• Identify field challenges early and drive timely solutions.
• Mentor Project Engineers and Assistant Project Managers onsite.
