Job summary

Manatal is seeking a PLC Programmer to implement advanced automation across data centers and manufacturing sites in the Charlotte region. This role requires extensive on-site work, up to 75% travel, and hands-on expertise with Siemens TIA Portal, Allen-Bradley Studio 5000, Ignition, and BAS systems.

You will lead commissioning, collaborate with engineers and clients, document operations, and guide on-site teams to ensure high-quality project outcomes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of PLC experience with listed platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead startup and verification of PLC/DDC systems.
• Collaborate with engineers, clients, and electrical teams to ensure seamless automation integration.
• Document system operations and modifications, maintaining accurate records.
• Provide on-site technical leadership and QA to subcontractors and field crews.
