Job summary

GOJO, Makers of PURELL in Wooster, OH, is seeking an on-site engineer to execute product and process improvement projects, support molding and automation, and drive quality resolution. The role emphasizes collaboration across R&D, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing to deliver competitive product designs.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical/packaging/plastics engineering background and a track record in project management, design, and equipment installation, with overnight travel as needed.

Qualifications

• BA/BS preferred in Mechanical, Packaging or Plastics Engineering; in lieu of degree, minimum ten years’ relevant work experience.
• Minimum three years’ relevant work experience required.
• Experience with Creo or SOLIDWORKS strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Provides day to day engineering support to molding, blow molding, QC, automation and tooling to meet business goals.
• Documents and maintains up to date component and assembly specifications.
• Contributes to product design and establishment of product requirements.
• Designs and develops components for new or existing products.
• Coordinates and installs new or redesigned equipment and processes.
• Collaborates with production, maintenance and other engineering groups.
