Job summary

Talent Edge Recruiting seeks a Plant Manager/Resin Manufacturing/Formulator/Chemist to lead a growing Wisconsin facility. This hands‑on leadership role requires building scalable systems, leading a small production team, and delivering on a multi‑building site.

Responsibilities include running day‑to‑day operations, establishing QA from scratch, and optimizing formulation tracking in Excel. Onsite work is required; training will cover chemistry side over ramp‑up.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in chemical, resin, coatings, or composites manufacturing (10-15 years ideal).
• Plant/operations management leadership experience is the priority; on‑the‑job formulation/chemistry background helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day manufacturing across a multi-building facility with multiple batch tanks and production lines.
• Build the plant's first formal quality control function from scratch.
• Lead and grow a hands-on production team with planned hires as the plant scales.
• Manage supplier relationships and coordinate shipping/receiving and freight.
• Maintain Excel-based spreadsheets tracking batch components and formulations.
