Job summary

House Rx is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist with specialty experience to serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge at our Round Rock site in Texas. This onsite role supports specialty clinics, optimizes outcomes, and ensures regulatory compliance and patient safety across daily operations.

You will lead a team, collaborate with providers, manage prior authorizations and formulary access, and drive process improvements in a startup environment dedicated to accessible specialty care for patients.

Qualifications

• PharmD or equivalent and licensed pharmacist in the state of employment.
• PIC experience preferred; onsite Round Rock, TX.
• Experience with specialty medications, benefits investigations, and prior authorization.
• Ability to lead and train staff; rigorous documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication with patients and care teams, in-person or by phone.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge with licensure oversight and regulatory inspections.
• Oversee daily operations to ensure dispensing accuracy and patient safety.
• Lead audits and coordinate responses for regulatory bodies and accrediting organizations.
• Supervise pharmacists, technicians, and staff; ensure continuing education compliance.
• Collaborate with clinics to optimize formulary access and medication access for patients.
• Investigate medication incidents; ensure proper documentation and continuous quality improvement.
• Manage inventory, storage, recalls, and procurement.
• Contribute to strategic planning for growth, new service lines, and value-based care initiatives.
