Job summary

Accredo Specialty Pharmacy in Newark, Delaware is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for an onsite role. You will help dispense and ship prescriptions, verify details, and support the pharmacy team to meet regulatory guidelines and patient needs.

This position offers an hourly rate of 18 to 27 USD, bonus eligibility, day-one benefits, and opportunities for growth. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and pharmacy technician certification preferred; 1+ year of related experience is

Qualifications

High School Diploma / GED required.
Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred.
1+ years of relevant work experience as a Pharmacy Technician, preferred.
Basic math skills and General PC knowledge including Microsoft Office, use of the internet and email.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy and quality.

Responsibilities

Select and retrieve appropriate quantities of medication and prepare the labels that correspond.
Use your expert problem solving skills to help our patients be at their best every day.
Collaborate with pharmacists and production clerks to ensure medications are adequately filled and support the pharmacy's quality goals.
Deliver administrative and operational support services in the Pharmacy.
Defines procedures under close supervision.
Assist with picking up medication and helping on the packing line.
Gain new knowledge with our systems and relationships with peers.
