Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Indiana Pharmacy Technician License or ability to obtain it.
• Previous Pharmacy Technician or pharmacy experience.
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and label prescription medications for dispensing.
• Measure, count, and package medications according to prescription orders.
• Replenish medications in automated dispensing cells.
• Ensure medication containers are accurately labeled.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe dispensing area.
• Conduct inventory stock rotation to prevent medication expiration.
• Follow pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Assist with prescription documentation and recordkeeping.
• Support pharmacists with daily operations.
