We are hiring Certified Pharmacy Techs in Jeffersonville, Indiana! 2nd Shift – Pay: $18.23/hr plus $1.00 shift differential (Mon 1‑pm‑11:30‑pm; Tue‑Fri 2‑pm‑11‑pm; Sat 12‑pm‑8:30‑pm). Work location: onsite, Jeffersonville, IN. Climate controlled. 180+ hrs of PTO once converted to full time. Benefits start the 1st of month after conversion to McKesson. Medical and dental benefits available while on contract.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will accurately and efficiently fill prescription requests in an automated refill setting. Under the supervision of a Pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician prepares, packages, and distributes medications in a fast‑paced production environment, maintaining continuous, consistent workflow to meet daily production goals and working productively independently or as a team.

Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions

1. Medication Dispensing
   • Prepare and label prescription medications for dispensing.
   • Measure, count, and package medications according to prescription orders.
   • Replenish medication in automated cells to full capacity; open large quantities of bottles and cases of product.
   • Ensure proper labeling and instructions for patient use on medication containers.
   • Maintain an organized and clean dispensing area.
2. Inventory Management
   • Conduct regular stock rotation to prevent expiration of medications.
3. Compliance and Regulations
   • Adhere to all federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations.
   • Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times.
   • Assist in record‑keeping and documentation of prescription and medication‑related information.

Minimum Qualifications

• Indiana Pharmacy Technician License.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous pharmacy experience.
• Ability to select and lift objects from shelves and carry to order filling line.
• Consistent ability to carry 20–30 lbs of merchandise short distances and 15 lbs of merchandise on an extended basis from order filling station to conveyor.
• Must be able to walk and stand throughout the entire shift.
• Basic math, reading and writing skills required.
