Job summary

The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking a Per Diem Inpatient Clinical Dietitian (RD/LD) in Houston. The role provides inpatient nutrition care to adults and children and requires proficiency in nutrition assessment and education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and completion of an Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics approved dietetic internship or equivalent.
• RD and LD licensure required; Master’s degree or advanced certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient nutrition care aligned with diagnosis and treatment plans.
• Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and develop care plans.
• Document care and participate in rounds with the interdisciplinary team.
• Educate patients and families on nutrition needs and barriers to learning.
