Job summary

Synapse Health is seeking a Specialist, Customer Experience to be the frontline contact for patients, prescribers, and partners through DME order intake and fulfillment. This fully onsite role is based in the Brentwood, TN office and requires 2+ years in healthcare customer service or order processing.

You will verify information, coordinate with providers, and ensure accurate, compassionate service while delivering on performance goals and protecting patient privacy.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recent experience in customer service or order processing within the healthcare equipment or DME industry.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to quickly learn department-specific systems.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for multi-channel interactions.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues and resolve concerns promptly.

Responsibilities

• Receive, triage, and process incoming communications from multiple channels, routing as needed.
• Initiate intake of new orders by gathering patient demographics and provider information.
• Determine whether requests are within scope and apply appropriate workflows.
• Respond to general inquiries about Synapse Health with clarity and empathy.
• Act as a patient advocate to meet member needs and address barriers to care.
• Deliver a high-quality patient experience while meeting productivity and satisfaction goals.
• Accurately enter and maintain data within internal systems and documentation tools.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.
• Collaborate with leadership on escalated or complex requests.
• Identify process gaps and contribute to continuous improvement.
