Qualifications

• Part-time position with morning and afternoon hours.
• Must commute to Hammonton, NJ; mileage not reimbursed.
• Must provide copy of medical translation certification.
• Native-level fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English.
• Willing to undergo background checks, fingerprinting and a physical examination.
• Must comply with CDC and facility medical guidelines (masks, temperature checks, vaccines, testing).

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person interpretations for patient treatment-ward appointments and medical visits.
• Interpret from Chinese to English and from English to Chinese.
• Maintain confidentiality of PHI and PII and comply with HIPAA.
• Adhere to CDC and facility guidelines including masks and weekly COVID-19 testing.
