Job summary

Davenergy Solutions seeks a full-time Construction Manager to serve as the Owner’s Representative for infrastructure upgrades at the Central Alabama Veterans Healthcare Systems (CAVHCS) in Tuskegee, AL. The role requires onsite construction oversight, coordination, and QA on an active medical campus.

The ideal candidate has five years in construction management or QA/QC, with familiarity with healthcare projects, safety codes, and strong communication with government officials and contractors.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of construction management or QA/QC experience.
• Experience in commercial or healthcare construction and familiarity with safety codes.
• Strong written and verbal coordination with Government and contractor personnel.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite inspections to verify construction work complies with contract documents, drawings, specifications, and applicable codes.
• Monitor construction progress and report schedule, quality, and safety issues to the Government COR.
• Coordinate and track RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings to support timely reviews.
• Identify constructability, sequencing, and coordination issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain daily field reports, inspection logs, and progress documentation.
• Support commissioning activities and coordination with testing agencies.
• Assist with project closeout activities including punchlists, as-builts, warranties, and O&M documentation.
