Job summary

Stryker OnSite Specialist is responsible for in-room support of MIS procedures, ensuring optimal performance of Stryker and third‑party equipment. You will bridge clinical teams, SPD, and Stryker service lines to maintain smooth OR operations.

The role requires OR technical support experience, strong troubleshooting, and flexibility to travel; on-site coverage in the Bloomington area with potential cross-account support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 3+ years relevant work experience, or an Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree with 1 year experience.
• Ability to rotate shifts and arrive within 45 minutes when on call.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally; stand, walk, bend, stoop for extended periods.
• Visual acuity, color vision, mobility, and dexterity for equipment/documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, time-management, and independent decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Set up Stryker towers, booms, lights, and integrated suite systems per surgeon preference.
• Confirm equipment functionality and image routing prior to each procedure.
• Adjust camera, monitor, and device settings intraoperatively.
• Provide immediate troubleshooting of endoscopy and integration systems.
• Manage post-procedure breakdown and staging of all Stryker equipment.
• Clean/disinfect towers and components, restock consumables, and perform basic maintenance.
• Educate OR and SPD staff on proper use and troubleshooting of Stryker products.
• Support video conferencing, DICOM transfers, and EMR connectivity (where applicable).
