Job summary

UT MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to support Lymphoma-Myeloma. The APP delivers comprehensive clinical care in outpatient and inpatient settings, partnering closely with attending physicians to manage patients across the continuum of care.

This role includes direct patient care, clinical documentation, care coordination, and a range of diagnostic and treatment support activities.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing or Doctor of Nursing Practice and Texas APRN authority.
• PA certification and licensed in Texas with applicable prescriptive authority.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care in oncology aligned with diagnosis and treatment plans.
• Perform outpatient assessments and evaluate clinic and emergency patients.
• Dictate progress notes, orders, and documentation for hospitalized and outpatient care.
• Coordinate biopsies, tests, and lab/pathology reports; communicate with providers.
• Support inpatient care and cross-coverage during physician absence.
• Assist with chemotherapy orders, scheduling, and related paperwork.

Master's Degree in Nursing or DNP (APRN)
