The US Oncology Network, in partnership with Virginia Cancer Specialists, seeks a Full Time Clinical Research Coordinator for our Fairfax office. A clinical or scientific degree is preferred, with oncology experience welcome.

Responsibilities include screening, enrolling, and maintaining patients on trials; ensuring protocol compliance; coordinating consent and ongoing assessments; data entry and billing support; and assisting with staff training and regulatory documents.

Qualifications

• Education/Training: Associate's degree in a clinical or scientific related discipline; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Business Experience: Experience with physicians; Microsoft Office experience.
• Specialized Knowledge/Skills: Strong communication, organization, multitasking, time management, interpersonal skills, attention to detail; ability to work in fast-paced environment.
• Working Conditions: Office environment with potential exposure to clinical setting factors.
• Physical Requirements: Prolonged computer-based work; standing/walking rarely required.

Responsabilités

• Screen potential patients for eligibility in collaboration with physicians.
• Present trial concepts, obtain informed consent, and enroll patients.
• Coordinate patient care per protocol and dispense investigational drug; provide patient teaching.
• Maintain drug accountability and document findings in accordance with SOP and regulations.
• Review billing guides and submit billing information.
• Assist with patient recruitment strategies and retention in trials.
• Provide clinical services and assist with regulatory documents.
