Job summary

Medix in Lakewood, CO is seeking a Clinical Research Assistant to support oncology clinical trials at our Denver-area clinic. Reporting to the CRC, you will help execute protocol procedures, gather accurate data, and maintain audit-ready study documentation.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field and 1–3+ years of clinical or biological research experience, preferably oncology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on clinical research experience).
• 1–3+ years of experience in clinical or biological research environments; oncology trials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Protocol Execution: Review and understand study requirements to assist CRCs in conducting subject visits and completing protocol-mandated assessments accurately.
• Informed Consent: Guide study participants through the informed consent process in compliance with GCP, IRB guidelines, and federal rules.
• Participant Recruitment: Help identify, screen, and enroll eligible trial candidates to meet recruitment milestones on schedule.
• Documentation & Data Management: Prepare source documents, complete CRFs/eCRFs, and record clinical observations, lab results, and patient data in alignment with trial protocols.
• Safety Monitoring: Immediately report any adverse events or protocol deviations to the Principal Investigator and Study Coordinator.
• Investigational Supplies: Help oversee inventory and tracking of clinical trial materials, including laboratory supplies, documentation, and study products.
• Communication & Professionalism: Maintain clear, compliant communication with investigators, study sponsors, review boards, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Compliance & Development: Adhere to GCP, IRBs, SOPs, and ethical guidelines while engaging in ongoing professional development.
