Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of contemporary and evidence-based OT practices.
• Ability to interpret clinician prescriptions and referrals.
• Ability to motivate, educate and encourage patients.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English with patients and staff.
• Proficient with MS Office and Epic EMR software.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat referred patients with OT plans.
• Design care plans with goals, outcomes and discharge strategy.
• Collaborate with providers, nurses and other staff.
• Educate patient and family on treatment plans.
• Document evaluations and treatments for regulatory compliance.
• Maintain accurate charges and timely scheduling changes.
