Job summary

Medcor in Horicon, Wisconsin is seeking a part-time Occupational Health Nurse to join our onsite team. In this role you’ll provide first aid and urgent care for workplace injuries, support employee wellness initiatives, and partner with Safety to keep staff healthy, safe, and productive.

The position requires an active RN license, CPR/BLS certification, and strong assessment, triage, and communication skills.

Qualifications

Active RN license in applicable state.
CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association).
Strong assessment, triage, and clinical decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal onsite supervision.
Proficiency with electronic medical records and basic computer applications
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Provide first aid, triage, assessment, and treatment for occupational injuries and illnesses.
Respond to workplace medical emergencies and coordinate EMS as needed.
Document all patient encounters in EMR and company systems.
Assist with OSHA recordkeeping and workers' compensation case coordination.
Conduct drug and alcohol testing as required.
Educate employees on health, wellness, and return-to-work plans.
Collaborate with supervisors and Safety teams to support health goals.
