Medcor is hiring a Part-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our onsite occupational health clinic in Ottumwa, IA. The role focuses on workplace health, injury care, and employee wellness, with activities in first aid, triage, and care coordination for manufacturing employees.

You’ll work with Safety and Operations teams, maintain documentation in electronic medical records, and support OSHA‑related programs while providing a compassionate patient experience.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted LPN license in Iowa.
• CPR/BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Strong nursing assessment, triage, and clinical decision‑making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal onsite supervision.
• Comfortable using electronic medical records and basic computer applications.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.

Responsabilités

• Provide first aid, triage, assessment, and treatment for workplace injuries.
• Respond to workplace medical emergencies and coordinate emergency medical services when necessary.
• Evaluate injured employees and guide care using established evidence‑based treatment protocols.
• Document patient encounters accurately within electronic medical records and company systems.
• Assist with workers' compensation and injury case coordination.
• Support OSHA‑related injury and illness documentation and recordkeeping.
