Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; four years of related experience may substitute for degree requirement.
• One year of relevant experience.
• Masters the skills to communicate with vulnerable population.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Two or more years of experience working in clinical trials with human subjects.
• Ability to multi-task is critical to this role.
• Certified CCRP/CCRC preferred.
• EPIC and database experience.
• Medical background and terminology.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Screens, recruits, interviews, and randomizes patients for study; explains process and procedures to educate participant regarding the research study.
• Follows up patients from different study groups; monitors and reports potential adverse events in time.
• Collects patient information from interviews and EPIC; processes documents and enters information into a computerized database.
• Collects, processes, and transports the blood/biological specimens according to procedures outlined in study protocol; maintain paperwork for specimens.
• Corresponds with patient throughout study.
• Keeps all required trainings and certificates up-to-date.
• After-hour and weekend on call may be needed.
• Performs other job duties as assigned.
