Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in data analysis, financial analysis, business analysis, or a related field.
• Experience with Python and SQL.
• Strong experience working with large datasets, financial data, and trend analysis.
• Knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting, reporting, and data visualization.
• Understanding of financial and accounting structures, preferably within a public-sector or civil-service environment.
• Experience with Oracle Financial and/or Hyperion is highly desirable.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Knowledge of labor analytics and/or fringe benefits is a plus.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate complex financial datasets, historical trends, and performance metrics to guide long-term planning.
• Build and maintain data-driven financial models, forecasting tools, and automated reporting pipelines using Python and SQL.
• Conduct advanced data analysis to identify usage patterns, anomalies, and emerging trends.
• Generate automated reports and dashboards to support financial planning and decision-making.
• Perform monthly updates of rate and enrollee data and integrate new information into historical trend analyses, predictive cost models, and forecasting frameworks.
• Identify operational inefficiencies and propose data-driven improvements and innovative analytical solutions.
• Apply knowledge of financial and accounting structures, particularly within labor and civil service environments.
• Work with Oracle Financial and Hyperion systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Excel, PowerPoint, and modern data analysis tools.
• Apply foundational knowledge of fringe benefits, including health insurance, pension, welfare, and annuity, and understand their financial impact within the public sector.
