Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking a Business Intelligence Data Engineer for New York City to design, build, and optimize scalable data solutions supporting analytics and reporting. The role focuses on SQL, Python, cloud platforms, and dashboard development.

The ideal candidate will have strong data engineering and BI capabilities, hands-on experience with large-scale datasets, and a background in creating dashboards with Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering, BI Development, or Analytics Engineering.
• Strong SQL and Python skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms.
• Hands-on experience with large-scale transactional and operational datasets.
• Experience developing dashboards and reports using BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.).
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines from multiple business systems and data sources.
• Design, optimize, and manage data warehouses, data lakes, and cloud-based data platforms.
• Build and maintain semantic models for analytics and reporting.
• Create and support dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
• Collaborate with business teams to gather reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and documentation standards.
• Improve data infrastructure and recommend modern analytics solutions.
