TalentBurst is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for an 8-week onsite assignment in Parkersburg, WV. Shift is 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, 12-hour days, 3 days per week, with a minimum guarantee of 36 hours per week.

Under RN supervision, the LPN provides direct patient care, participates in planning and evaluation, administers medications, and assists in coordinating care with unlicensed staff and other departments. BLS/CPR and licensed status required.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing is required.
• Must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing.
• Experience is preferred in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing.
• Read, write, speak and understand English to ensure safety and wellbeing.
• TST verification may be required; BLS/CPR certification maintained.

Aufgaben

• Collect, report and document objective and subjective data.
• Observe conditions and report changes to RN.
• Contribute to establishing individualized patient goals and plans of care.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Supervise unlicensed staff and ensure tasks meet policy.
• Coordinate with departments to provide timely, effective care.
• Promote safety and protect PHI at all times.
• Assist with discharge planning and patient/family education.
