Lucid is seeking a Software Developer to own and extend an internal data platform and Jira-based live app. You will work on data reconciliation, production-grade data pipelines, and executive dashboards, enabling reliable release management for vehicle programs.

The role emphasizes ownership of system decisions, safe data operations, and collaboration with business and engineering teams. Based in Newark, CA, onsite five days a week, you will influence critical production records and analytics.

Qualifications

• Strong Python and data engineering fundamentals.
• Practical SQL against large operational data stores.
• Experience with Jira REST API and Jira Assets/AQL.
• Modern JavaScript without a framework (ES modules, DOM, SVG).
• Disciplined engineering habits: tests, linting, CI/CD.
• Comfort with AI-assisted coding tools.

Responsibilities

• Data reconciliation pipelines across 3DX/Redshift/Jira.
• Build and operate Python pipelines for cross-system data integrity at scale.
• Maintain a shared classification engine to avoid conflicting decisions.
• Enforce safe data changes with dry-run, batched execution, and reversible writes.
• Upsert large volumes of Engineering Change Records from Redshift into Jira Assets.
• Develop and release frontend interactions in a Jira-based live app.
• Create dashboards and reports for executives.
