KellyMitchell Group is seeking a Network Security Engineer to join the Infrastructure and Security team in Irving, TX. You will maintain, optimize, and secure enterprise network security platforms, collaborating with business and tech teams to uphold a strong security posture.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on firewall and VPN expertise, MFA knowledge, and a proactive problem-solving approach in a fast-paced environment. Onsite role with full-time hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT/Cybersecurity or related field.
• 3+ years in professional network security engineering and strong troubleshooting skills.
• Solid grasp of TCP/IP, routing, switching, DNS, SSL/TLS and security architecture.
• Experience with enterprise firewalls and VPN technologies; MFA and DNS security.
• Ability to document, analyze, and resolve complex security issues independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage enterprise, store, and cloud network security environments including firewalls and access controls.
• Configure and troubleshoot site-to-site and remote-access VPN connectivity with MFA support.
• Administer and optimize web security, URL filtering, DNS security, and related platforms.
• Perform firewall policy reviews, vulnerability remediation, and OS hardening tasks.
• Lead security reviews with risk management, and document technical workflows.
