Job summary

MANTECH is on the lookout for a motivated Network Engineer to support network operations based in Chantilly, VA. This role requires expertise in public and private networks, along with strong communication skills.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of IT experience focusing on network management and Cisco configurations. Responsibilities include installation, troubleshooting, and providing training for team members. This position is on-site and may require some travel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Information Technology, focusing on network configurations.
• Hands-on expertise in IP networks, WANs, switches, routers, and troubleshooting.
• Effective communication skills for delivering updates to leadership and customers.
• Demonstrated initiative and sound judgment in customer service.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% CONUS and/or OCONUS.

Responsibilities

• Install and manage public and private networks, including troubleshooting.
• Evaluate new technologies to enhance network capabilities.
• Prepare engineering plans and installation schedules.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Coordinate procurement and manage network inventory.
• Conduct training sessions for team members.
• Lead functional teams or projects as assigned.
