Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to support a DoD program onsite across multiple locations including Jacksonville, FL. The role emphasizes patch management, storage, and data center networking, with automation and compliance duties.

Ideal candidates will have 4+ years in enterprise IT, a Secret clearance, and hands-on MECM, NetApp ONTAP, and Cisco NX-OS experience, plus scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, Bash, or Ansible.

Qualifications

• Experience managing Windows patching and software distribution with MECM/SCCM.
• Hands-on NetApp ONTAP storage administration and upgrades.
• Proficient in Cisco NX-OS data center networking.
• Strong scripting in PowerShell, Python, Bash, or Ansible for automation.
• Familiar with RMF, DISA STIGs, vulnerability management, and IT change processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage enterprise Windows patching, patching reporting with MECM/SCCM.
• Administer NetApp ONTAP storage and upgrades with management tools.
• Maintain Cisco NX-OS data center switches and firmware updates.
• Monitor and optimize infrastructure for reliability and performance.
• Develop automation scripts for patching and health checks.
• Support migrations, releases, and maintenance windows (off-hours as needed).
• Document configurations, baselines, and change records.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a distributed environment.
