Job summary

Astrion is seeking a Software Developer for the LASSO II contract at Kennedy Space Center in Merritt Island, FL. The role focuses on developing and maintaining web-based software in support of LASSO laboratories, with emphasis on analysis of user requests for feasibility, cost, and integration with current systems.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in C#, Visual Studio, .NET Framework, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL technologies, and must be a U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
• Experience with C#, Visual Studio, .NET Framework, CSS & JavaScript, TSQL & MS SQL Server is required.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Configure plans outlining steps to develop programs using structured analysis and design.
• Plan, develop, test, and document computer programs and systems.
• Submit plans to users for approval and provide diagrams to illustrate sequence of steps.
• Consult with users to identify procedures and clarify objectives.
• Support operation of in-house web apps and interfaces with COTS products; troubleshoot issues.
• Develop complex data queries and SQL scripts to clean, transform, and migrate data while preserving integrity.
