Job summary

LanguageLine Solutions – Onsite Division in Indianapolis, IN is seeking dedicated Medical Interpreters to join our Onsite Division as independent contractors. You will provide face-to-face interpretation in healthcare facilities on an as-needed basis.

Interpreters must be fluent in English and at least one other language, with strong medical terminology knowledge and excellent listening and note-taking abilities.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and at least one target language.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
• Proven medical interpreting experience preferred.
• Excellent listening, memory retention, and note-taking skills.
• Ability to remain impartial, professional, and composed.
• Educational background in languages or interpretation (a plus).

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate, high-quality consecutive interpretation during medical appointments and healthcare interactions.
• Facilitate clear communication between healthcare providers and patients.
