Job summary

LanguageLine Solutions – Onsite Division seeks dedicated Medical Interpreters to join our Onsite Division in Minnesota (Eagan) and surrounding areas. This role places you face-to-face in healthcare facilities as an independent contractor, offering flexible, assignment-based scheduling and the chance to directly impact patient care.

Requirements include fluency in English and at least one target language, strong medical terminology, and professional interpreting experience.

Qualifications

Fluency in English and at least one target language (spoken and understood at a professional level).
Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
Proven medical interpreting experience (preferred).
Excellent listening, memory retention, and note-taking skills.
Ability to remain impartial, professional, and composed in sensitive situations.
Educational background in languages or interpretation is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide accurate, high-quality consecutive interpretation during medical appointments and healthcare interactions.
Facilitate clear communication between healthcare providers and patients.
Maintain professionalism, neutrality, and strict confidentiality at all times.
