Job summary

VahatiCor is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to inspect materials and devices, maintain records, and participate in validation activities. This hands-on role requires cGMP compliance and meticulous documentation, working closely with Quality, Manufacturing, and Engineering teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in medical device quality inspection, proficiency with microscopes, calipers, and other inspection tools, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least five years in quality inspection in the medical device industry with cGMP.
• Hands-on use of microscopes for inspecting small components.
• Experience with calipers, micrometers and other precision tools.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, dimensions and tolerances.
• Strong math skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications.
• Ability to work independently within approved procedures.
• Willingness to travel to contract manufacturers.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming inspection and testing of materials and components.
• Evaluate quality documentation accompanying incoming materials.
• Perform in-process and final inspections of medical devices.
• Inspect materials and products for dimensional, visual, and packaging requirements.
• Use microscopes for detailed inspection; document results.
• Maintain device history and lot records; ensure traceability.
• Support audit preparation and participate in quality investigations.
• Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, and Engineering.
• Escalate discrepancies and communicate results effectively.
• Maintain calibration and condition of inspection equipment.
