Job summary

VahatiCor is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to inspect materials, components, and finished cardiovascular devices in a hands-on role. You will perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections, maintaining detailed quality records and supporting nonconformance activities.

The role requires cGMP experience, meticulous documentation, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment. Onsite Santa Clara, CA, full-time position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of five years of quality inspection experience in the medical device industry.
• Hands-on experience using microscopes for small components.
• Experience using precision inspection equipment and measurement tools.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, tolerances and work instructions.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently within approved procedures.
• Willingness to travel to contract manufacturers.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test materials, components, and finished devices per specs.
• Maintain records and documentation per quality system procedures.
• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections.
• Use microscopes and precision tools for accurate measurements.
• Identify nonconformances and communicate results to teams.
• Support audits and maintain neat, compliant records.
