Job summary

CompuGroup Medical is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Billing Onsite Coordinator to serve as the vital bridge between our client and our authorization and insurance revenue cycle teams. This on-site role focuses on managing the full authorization cycle, denials, and process improvements, with a Monday–Friday schedule and no evenings or weekends.

You will work closely with physicians, clinical staff, and practice administrators, leveraging Epic/Cerner/eClinicalWorks systems to verify

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of healthcare authorizations/revenue cycle experience.
• Strong knowledge of insurance verification, referral management, and payer-specific authorization requirements.
• Experience with payer portals (Availity, UnitedHealthcare, Medicare/Medicaid).

Responsibilities

• Own the full authorization cycle: verify eligibility, gather clinical docs, submit POAs, track approvals.
• Manage denials and appeals with compelling letters and supporting documentation.
• Drive process improvements by identifying denial trends and educating staff to reduce errors.
