Job summary

Family Health Center of Worcester, Inc. is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant for the Worcester Health Care for the Homeless (WHCH) clinic at 199 Chandler Street.

The role supports RN/LPN-supervised clinical tasks and unit clerk duties in a trauma-informed, welcoming setting. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program, and CPR/BLS certification; prior primary care experience and computer proficiency are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Previous experience in primary care or other health care setting preferred; demonstrated computer proficiency.
• Medical Assistant Certification and CPR/BLS Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of an RN/LPN, provides direct clinical service by performing basic patient care tasks.
• Completes unit clerk responsibilities as assigned.
