Job summary

UCHealth UCHlth Med Ctr of the Rockies in Loveland, CO is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to provide direct patient care in the MCR Cancer Care Hematology department.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• MA certification or registration (Medical Assistant I).
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross with card in-hand before start date.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care under the delegation and/or supervision of a nurse / healthcare provider.
• Prioritizes wellness and patient perspectives.
• Models proficiency through precepting those new to healthcare and/or UCHealth.
• Performs administrative or clerical duties as assigned including filing, scheduling, data entry and patient registration.
