Job summary

KAIROS, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer, Journeyman, to join our Newport, RI team. This onsite role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering and at least 3 years of professional experience in mechanical design, analysis, and fabrication.

You will read blueprints, design and test mechanical systems, and support power-producing and machinery projects using CAD/CAM tools. Strong communication and teamwork are essential to succeed in our fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience with CAD/CAM and mechanical design is essential.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Experience with system requirements, design reviews, and testing.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and reports.
