Job summary

OnLogic seeks a Mechanical Engineer to join our South Burlington, VT-based Engineering Team. This full-time role focuses on designing and validating high‑performance hardware, leading component integration, and driving continuous improvement across product life cycles.

You’ll work onsite with a global team, leverage SolidWorks for chassis and hardware design, and collaborate with suppliers to meet ambitious project timelines. A Bachelor's in Engineering and 5+ years in related roles are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience integrating high‑performance electrical and mechanical components into reliable systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical experience.
• Sound engineering judgment with ability to reconcile competing viewpoints when designing corrective actions.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship, now and in the future.

Responsibilities

• Work with computer hardware and chassis designs using SolidWorks.
• Leverage global test and lab capabilities to validate product designs.
• Coordinate with manufacturers and suppliers to inform and support work.
• Lead and engage in design reviews and provide development inputs.
• Create and maintain project schedules and documentation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally across electrical, mechanical, and software disciplines.
• Identify root causes via hands-on debugging and thorough analysis.
• Maintain organized workspaces and uphold accountability.
• Prioritize activities aligned with company goals.
• Learn new processes and technologies quickly.
