Job summary

Vantedge Medical is seeking a Mechanical Assembly Supervisor to lead mechanical/electro-mechanical assembly operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This salaried, onsite role requires strong leadership, blueprint literacy, and a track record of delivering safe, quality, and on-time production results.

The successful candidate will coordinate production schedules, drive continuous improvement, mentor staff, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer requirements

Qualifications

• 5+ years of mechanical/electro-mechanical assembly experience.
• 5+ years of leadership or supervisory experience with 10+ employees.
• Experience interacting with customers.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
• Experience supporting NPI builds and engineering change implementation.
• Ability to compose and maintain spreadsheets for metric reporting.
• Ability to multitask successfully under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ensure parts and assemblies meet quality standards.
• Coordinate labor allocation based on production priorities.
• Monitor workflow, bottlenecks, and line balance.
• Drive schedule attainment and on-time delivery (OTD) KPIs.
• Coordinate manufacturing schedule with other supervisory personnel.
• Lead daily production meetings and shift handoffs.
• Maintain accurate production records and reporting metrics.
• Lead, coach, and develop department staff.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and training activities.
• Foster accountability and continuous improvement culture.
