Job summary

Halliburton is seeking an Associate Mechanical Assembler to support the manufacturing of explosive products and small mechanical or electro-mechanical parts. You will work under general supervision to perform a variety of assembly operations and participate in testing and quality checks.

Day shift, 10-hours a day, on-site in Texas. A High School Diploma or GED and 1–2 years of related assembly experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of related assembly experience (skills typically acquired through this duration).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work well with your hands.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to processes
• Ability to inspect materials and identify quality issues
• Strong attention to detail for inspection tasks
• Reliability for overtime and onsite work

Responsibilities

• Assemble large equipment, including engines, drive trains, gas compressors, and control systems.
• Perform fitting, mounting, alignment, and adjusting during the assembly process.
• Conduct operational testing of assembled components and equipment.
• Execute a variety of assembly operations for explosive products and mechanical parts.
• Assemble large-scale equipment, including drive trains, compressors, and control systems.
