Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to measure parts using micrometers, calipers or other measuring tools.
• Must be able to read and interpret drawings and blueprints.
• Clear communication, both oral and written.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Prior shop or mechanical experience preferred.
• Must have a sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, inspect, clean, and record measurements of returned customer parts.
• Communicate findings via email to Applications Engineers and/or Supply Chain.
• Follow BOM and drawings to verify and assemble valves, actuators, unloaders, Rebecca valve assemblies, and other valve related assemblies.
• Read work order or follow oral instructions to ascertain if part meets drawing dimensions.
• Deburr parts using hand or powered tools as needed.
• Adjust torque wrenches.
• Perform and observe leak tests to ensure valves seal correctly.
• Conduct visual inspections and complete final inspection reports.
