Job summary

100Hires, Inc. is seeking a Mechanic A for 100% onsite work in Ogden, UT. You will install, maintain and repair mechanical equipment, perform preventive maintenance and assist other maintenance staff as needed.

A sign-on bonus of $5,000 is offered for well-qualified candidates, with a focus on safety and efficiency. The role requires five years of mechanical craft experience, including three years in industrial maintenance, and a diploma or trade school background may count toward the experience

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Five (5) years mechanical craft experience, three (3) years in mechanical industrial maintenance.
• Diploma or applicable education from a trade or technical school may qualify for part of experience requirement.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair mechanical equipment according to blueprints and drawings.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance including visual inspection and observe for malfunctions.
• Repair pumps, valves, blowers, compressors, vessels, conveyors and other equipment.
• Operate lathes, milling machines and drill presses to make or repair parts.
• Coordinate area activities with central maintenance shop and train other craftsmen.
