Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company in Abilene, TX is seeking an experienced Equipment Operator Craftsman 2 - Truck Driver to support field activities. You will oversee onsite warehouse operations and supervise personnel, ensuring accurate material handling and timely deliveries across project sites.

The role requires strong communication, safety awareness, and the ability to follow complex instructions while coordinating with procurement and field teams.

Qualifications

• May require a high school diploma or equivalent with prior field experience.
• Strong working knowledge and abilities for the position.
• Ability to understand and transmit written and oral instructions with management.
• Proficient in the safe and efficient use of electrical, hand, power, layout and measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee onsite warehouse operations and supervise personnel.
• Participate in workload and direct facility activities.
• Assist with requisitions and issue of material and manage shortages; plan purchases of basic daily shorts.
• Coordinate material staging and delivery with off-site shipping when needed.
• Supervise material document production and direct onsite communication of materials information.
• Maintain records for accuracy and attend onsite staff and discipline meetings.
• Collaborate with Material Manager and Project Procurement on inventories, deliveries, and backorders.
